PM Abiy Visiting Abu Dhabi

Addis Ababa March 20/2019 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived in the United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi, ahead of talks with Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed today.

Upon arrival at Al Bateen Airport, the premier was warmly received by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The leaders then went to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre to visit some of the athletes competing in the Special Olympic World Games, The National newspaper said.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also visited Qatar yesterday, where he met with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual concern.

They agreed to further consolidate economic ties, particularly investment, tourism and infrastructure developments.
