German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Visit Ethiopia

Addis Ababa January 16/2019 German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will start its visit to Ethiopia from January 27 to 30, 2019, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Germany in Ethiopia.

During his visit, the President is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his Ethiopian counterpart President Sahle-Work Zewde.

President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s visit to Ethiopia is to get first-hand information about the ongoing reform process in the country and to honor the two countries friendly relationship, it added.

He will also meet and discuss with representatives of the Ethiopian civil society and business sector.

According to the release, the President will visit German Development Cooperation supported TVET and rock-hewn churches of Lalibela.
