Afar Regional State Council Appoints New Administrator
Addis Ababa December 17/2018 The Afar Regional State Council today approved the appointment of new chief and deputy administrators for the region. Accordingly, the Council approved the appointment of Awel Arba and Ousman Muhammad Humeda as Chief Administrator and Deputy Chief Administrator, respectively.
Amina Seko has also appointed as Speaker of the Regional Council, while Hawa Keloyta became Deputy Speaker. After he swore in as regional administrator, Awel noted that the regional government and the ruling Afar National Democratic Party are ready to implement the ongoing sweeping reform in the region.
