“No More to Proxy war on Ethiopia!” Demonstrators Urge Countries in West

Addis Ababa October 22/2022  /ENA/ Demonstrators across Ethiopia urged some countries in the west to stop meddling in the internal affairs of Ethiopia by sending message indicating “No-More a proxy war on Ethiopia.”

Massive public demonstration is taking place across the nation to denounce the undue intervention and pressure of the West against Ethiopia.

Residents of Burayu, Sululta, Gelan, Sebeta, and Bischoftu towns of Oromia region and other parts of the nation have staged a massive rally protesting foreign interference in the internal affairs of Ethiopia.

In the peaceful demonstration, the participants sent strong message by carrying out slogans ‘threat of Ethiopia’s stability is a threat to international peace, respect our sovereignty, for sustainable peace disarm TPLF’ among other slogans.

Moreover, the demonstrators also shouted slogans in support of the National Defense Force, which is sacrificing for the country's sovereignty.

The protestors underlined that Ethiopia is a sovereign country with capability to maintain its internal peace.

They strongly condemned the actions of internal bandits and foreign historical enemies who are trying to undermine the territorial integrity of Ethiopia.

On other hand, the demonstrators expressed their support to the government of Ethiopia for the its ongoing measures to protect the unity of the county.

“We must together strengthen our national unity and thwart the actions of the westerners who interfere in Ethiopia's internal affairs to achieve their own interests,” they stressed.
