Pres. Kenyatta on Official Visit Here

Addis Ababa, June 8/2021(ENA) The Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived in Addis Ababa this Afternoon for a one-day official visit.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, the president was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and high-level government officials.

Kenya Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Raychelle Omamo arrived in Addis Ababa yesterday.

The two leaders have been exchanging visits and holding discussions to strengthen their bilateral relations.

Ethiopia and Kenya enjoy longstanding and excellent bilateral relations. The official diplomatic relations of the two countries dates back to 1954 when Ethiopia established its Honorary Consulate Office in Kenya.
