Nation Secures 2.8 Bil USD from Export Trade

Addis Ababa May 19/2021 (ENA) Ethiopia has secured 2.8 billion USD from export trade over the past ten months of the current budget year, according to Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The Ministry disclosed that the nation’s plan during the stated periods was to obtain 3.29 billion USD; however, it attained 85 percent of the target by securing 2.8 billion USD.

The revenue obtained in ten months shows an increase of 380 million USD compared to the previous year same period.

Gold, coffee, oilseeds, flowers, khat and live animals are some of the major export items of Ethiopia.
