Ethiopia, Turkey Vow to Heighten Cooperation

Addis Ababa July 17/2020(ENA) Ethiopian delegation led by the former President Mulatu Teshome met on Thursday with Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.

During their meeting, the two parties have discussed on a wide range of bilateral and regional momentous common issues.     

Turkish Foreign Minister twitted following the conversation that “We had a fruitful meeting with the Special Representative of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and former President of Ethiopia, Mulatu Teshome.”

Both sides have agreed to bolster mutual cooperation in all areas, including trade and investment, it was indicated.

Turkey is one of the largest foreign investors in Ethiopia with an investment capital of 2.5 billion US dollars, including manufacturing and constructions sectors.
