Six People Suspected of Grenade Attack at Rally Detained

Addis Ababa June  23/2018  Federal police announced that six people suspected of taking part in the explosion occurred today in Addis Ababa at a rally for the Prime Minister are detained. The blast has disturbed the rally being held at Meskel Square in Addis Ababa to recognize the reforms and support the new Prime Minister. The explosion that occurred shortly after PM Abiy Ahmed addressed the crowd injured several people. Zeynu Jemal, Federal Police Commissioner told ENA that of the total 165 people injured due to the explosion, 15 sustained serious injury. According to the Commissioner, a team has already established to investigate the attack.
