FM Holds Video Conference on COVID-19 with Heads of Ethiopian Mission

Addis ababa, April 11/2020( ENA) Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew held today a video conference with Ethiopian heads of mission in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas on ways of mobilizing resources for COVID-19. 

The participants deliberated on ways of coordinating the missions efforts to gather support from governments, non-governmental organizations and members of the Ethiopian Diaspora to the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Foreign Minister Gedu briefed the ambassadors and heads of mission about some of the key measures the government is undertaking to curb the spread and minimize the effect of the scourge.

He also appreciated the embassies and Ethiopians in the Diaspora for their commendable success registered in mobilizing resources to fight the pandemic.
