House Approves Appointment of 4 Ministers

ENA, March 12/2020 The House of Peoples’ Representatives (HPR) today approved the appointment of four ministers presented by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The HPR, in its 14 session meeting approved the appointment with a majority vote and 21 against, it was indicated.

Accordingly, Adanech Abebe appointed as Attorney General, Dr. Liya Tadesse as Minister of Health, Filsan Abdullahi as the Minister of Women, Children and Youth, as well as Lake Ayalew as Minister of Revenue.

The newly appointed ministers also made the oath before the House.

Similarly, the House has also approved the appointment of Tsegaye Arage as Commissioner of the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
