PM Abiy Receives Special Envoy of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

Addis Ababa June 07/2018 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received the Special Envoy of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia today. According to the Office of the Prime Minister, PM Abiy and the Special Envoy Ahmed Kattan held discussion about issues of mutual concern to Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia. It is to be recalled that the premier visited Saudi Arabia shortly after he was elected. The discussion between Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Premier Abiy focused on consolidating partnership in energy, agriculture and tourism sectors. Saudi Arabia had released 1,000 Ethiopian prisoners.
