President Bids Farewell to Departing Burundian Ambassador to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa ENA August 28/2019 President Sahlework Zewdie bade farewell today to Ambassador Dieudonné Ndabarushimana of Burundi to Ethiopia.
The outgoing Ambassador of Burundi told the media that “Ethiopia is a good example for Africa in many aspects. We are proud of Ethiopia as an Africans. All what it is doing is influencing the continent. I really appreciate that, and we have a very good cooperation.”

With respect to capacity building, Ambassador Ndabarushimana said Burundi has got many students in Ethiopia receiving training in various areas such as engineering and aviation, among others.

Praising Ethiopia's contribution to Burundi in times of crisis, he said “we got a good support from Ethiopia in 2016 as it deployed troops in Burundi.”

President Sahlework said on her part Ethiopia and Burundi have long-time cooperation, particularly in peacekeeping mission.

She affirmed the commitment of the country to continue the inclusive cooperation between the two nations.
