Kazakhstan Desirous to Support Ethiopia’s Reform


Addis Ababa ENA July 12/2019 Kazakhstan is keen to support the ongoing reforms of Ethiopia, the departing Kazakhstani Ambassador to Ethiopia Yerlik Ali said.

State Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Markos Tekle today bade farewell to outgoing Kazakhstani Ambassador Yerlik Ali.

Stressing his successful time in Ethiopia, Ambassador Ali said during the occasion that Kazakhstan is ready to assist the ongoing reforms in the country.

State Minister, Ambassador Markos Tekele said for his part that despite it is on early stages of the diplomatic ties between the two nations, it has been so productive.  

The countries have been working in collaboration particularly in the United Nations among others.

Accordingly, Ethiopia expressed its interest to widen its ties with Kazakhstan in areas of investment, trade, and tourism.

The Republic of Kazakhstan opened its Embassy in Addis Ababa, in 2015.
