Ethio-Sudanese Business Forum to be Held Next Week

Addis Ababa April 25 /2019 Bilateral diplomatic relations of Ethiopia have been registering steady progress, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Briefing journalists today, Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Nebiyat Getachew said a business forum aimed at boosting trade exchange between Ethiopia and Sudan will open this Monday here in Addis Ababa.

The forum will also help strengthen the long-standing economic integration of the countries, he added.

According to Nebiyat, over 150 business communities, public delegation and government officials from Ethiopia and Sudan will take part in the forum.

On the other hand, the spokesperson also stated that the Belt and Road Forum has a good prospect to strengthen bilateral relationship not only with China but also with several countries on the sidelines.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is attending the Second Belt and Road initiative Forum in Beijing.
