President Mulatu on Official visit to Poland

Addis Ababa April 24/2018 President Mulatu Teshome is on a state visit to Poland, according to Office of the President. The President was warmly welcomed by Polish government officials on his arrival in the capital Warsaw. It was learnt that the President was invited for a state visit to Poland by President Andrzej Duda. Upon his visit, the President is expected to hold discussion with President Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the speaker of the upper Senate of Poland on bilateral issues. The President is also expected to present speech in Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Diplomatic Academy and will deliberate on the positive role of Ethiopian Foreign policy on the country’s development. Furthermore, he will pay visits to several manufacturing industries in Poland, it was learnt. President Andrzej Duda visited Ethiopia a year ago, upon which the Presidents of the two countries have signed various agreements that will boost the two countries relationship into higher level. Ethiopia and Poland have established diplomatic relationship in early 1940 and the countries have historical linkages starting from the 18 century.
