Water, Soil Management Practices in Ethiopia Needs Particular Attention: PM Abiy

Addis Ababa April 17/2022/ENA/ Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed underscored that it is imperative that nation pays attention to water and soil management practices.

“Soil and water combination is essential to enhanced agricultural productivity and therefore why it is imperative we pay attention to our water and soil management practices as a nation,” Abiy twitted.

The prime minister added that there has been increasing pressures on water supplies and topsoil erosion.

Due to various factors including land degradation, the premier underlined  “our enhanced Green Legacy efforts aim to address a number of these intertwined issues to ensure agricultural productivity and food security.”
