House to Implement Deliver logy System

Addis Ababa May15/2018 Standing Committees of the House of People`s Representatives (HPR) are going to implement deliver logy to enhance the check and balance system. To implement the system each of the standing committees will sign agreement every year with ministries starting from the coming Ethiopian year for a better delivery. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced the plan today at a discussion with officials of the government. Abiy said the agreement will contain issues that are expected to be delivered by the executive bodies within a year. “The agreement will be available for everyone on websites and we will receive live questions from the public at the final evaluation of the performance report”, he noted. Implementing deliver logy - the act of delivering on government promises to the public - in the check and balance system will help to ensure accountability and transparency, he indicated. The primer also called his new cabinet to adapt themselves to their positions as soon as possible to properly utilize the opportunity – the hope and inspiration of the people. “We have an ample opportunity but it could be an opportunity only if we work together”. The premier stressed the significance of working together with avoiding the spirit of revenging the past with calling it as “wastage of time”. “So let`s use our integrity, time and excellence”. “Let us take a lesson from the past and go forward to create the developed, prosperous country and realize our renaissance with collaborating resources”, he said. Prime Minister Abiy who comes to power recently, reshuffled his cabinet. He also assigned 43 officials with a rank of ministers and state ministers.
