European MP Briefed on Current Situation in Ethiopia

March 18/2021 /ENA/ Ambassador Hirut Zemene held a fruitful exchange of views on the current situation in Ethiopia with Norbert Neuser, Member of Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament and vice-chair of the Development Committee on Wednesday.

Ambassador Hirut briefed Neuser about the current developments in Ethiopia including efforts underway to address the humanitarian situation in Tigray and other parts of the country as well as steps taken to enhance the reform process including the upcoming election.

They also agreed to further exchange information on various issues of common concern, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
