DPM Launches Construction of 3.4 Bil Birr worth Roads in Amhara Region

Addis Ababa March 1/2021 ( ENA)  Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Demeke Memonen today launched the construction of two road projects with an outlay of more than 3.4 billion Birr.

The government of Ethiopia will cover the total cost of the Arb Gebeya- Sekela-Tilili and Denbecha-Sekela-Bibugn asphalt concrete road projects located in Amhara region.

The construction of these 132 km length road projects will be undertaken by the Amhara Roads Construction Corporation. The projects are expected to be completed within three years.

Government officials including the President of Amhara Regional state, Agegnhu Teshager and Minister of Transport, Dagimawit Moges  have attended the launching ceremony.
