President, WOSL Executive Director Discuss about Making Students Change Agents in Technology

Addis Ababa Julay 31/2018 President Mulatu Teshome and World Organization for Sustainability of Leadership Executive Director Paul Bogaardt held discussion today about empowering Ethiopian students to become change agents in transforming sustainable and technology supported development. The American organization, World Organization for Sustainability of Leadership (WOSL), had given training opportunities to two Ethiopian students in prestige universities, Ethiopian Space Science Society General Manager Beza Tesfaye said, adding that WOSL  is ready to also give full college scholarship for eight students. The President, who welcomed the initiative and cooperation of WOSL and Ethiopian Space Science Society (ESSS), expressed the government’s readiness to support the partnership in every way. World Organization for Sustainability of Leadership Executive Director Paul Bogaardt said on his part the goal of his organization is to make the youth “become agents of change for sustainable development.” “We met with (the leadership of) ESSS and formed a very strong partnership that is just the beginning of something very beautiful and very long term,” Bogaardt added. The Executive Director stated that he also met with many stakeholders, academicians and researchers. “We understand the need for transforming the next generation into change agents for the future.” He pointed out that “we are here to do our small part in collaboration with our sister organization the ESSS, and we are truly honored to be here.”
