Ethiopia Announces Diaspora Trust Fund Bank Account

Addis Ababa July 18/2018 The Government of Ethiopia has announced the bank account of the Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund today. Prime Minister Abiy had earlier called on the Ethiopian Diaspora across the world to contribute their share toward building better Ethiopia. Abiy promised that the government will directly channel all funds, for instance a dollar from one cup of macchiato, to directly benefit the public. According to the Office of the Prime Minster, the bank account for the Ethiopian Diaspora has been opened at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. The account opened in the name of "Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund" is 1000255726725.
