President Sahilework Condemns Killing of Civilians in Metekel

Addis Ababa, December 25/2020( ENA) President Shaile-Work Zewudie has strongly condemned the killing of civilians in Metekel.

The president expressed her deep grief over the recurring massacres carried out on civilians including children and women in Metekel.

“We have to stop adapting death with ourselves. The heinous killing of civilians, women, and children in Metekel is very horrific that must be strongly condemned, Otherwise it will drag us all in to a vicious circle of playing with fire due to our failure to learn from the past,” she said.  

The president called for a collaboration effort to stop such horrifying practices.
