Keria Ibrahim Elected as Speaker of House of Federation

Addis Ababa April 30/2018 Keria Ibrahim has been elected as Speaker of the House of Federation today. The election of Keria came out following the resignation of the former Speaker Yalew Abate. Members of the House unanimously approved the election of Keria to replace Yalew, who served as speaker of the house for the last 30 months. Keria has served as the Head of Public Service office of Tigray Regional State before elected as a speaker.
