Companies Contribute over 15m ETB to Combat COVID-19

Addis ababa, April 9/2020(ENA)Twelve Ethiopian road construction companies have contributed 15.3 million Birr today in support of the fight against COVID-19 epidemic.

The companies handed over the financial support to Ambassador Misganaw Admasu, who is member of the COVID-19 pandemic National Coordination Committee.

After receiving the donation, Ambassador Misganaw appreciated the companies for their helpful support as they shoulder social responsibilities at this critical juncture.

He urged for concerted efforts of all stakeholders and the public at large to curb the health risk posed by the spread coronavirus.

Ethiopian Road Authority Director-General, Habtamu Tegegn in his part commended the move by the companies to support the national efforts to contain the spread of the virus.

He called upon other companies to contribute their part to halt the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
