Ethiopians Contribute Nearly Half Million Yuan for COVID-19 Prevention

ENA,April 6/2020 Ethiopians residing in China contributed 452,589 Yuan to support Ethiopia’s efforts in the fight against COVID-19 epidemic.

According to Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing, the contribution comes from students, embassy staff members and other Ethiopians living in China.

Some 100, 000 Yuan donation is in the form of medical equipments that would help to protect the spread of coronavirus in Ethiopia, the embassy said.

The remaining 351,400 Yuan is directly donated in cash to the National Resources Mobilization Committee for COVID-19 prevention and containment activities.
