Denmark Expresses Solidarity with Ethiopia in fighting COVID-19

ENA,April 2/2020 Denmark has expressed solidarity with Ethiopia on its effort to fight against COVID-19, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Gedu Andargachew and Danish Minister for Development Cooperation, Rasmus Prehn, have held talks over the phone to discuss on the enduring efforts exerted towards containing the spread of COVID-19.

During the their discussion, Gedu briefed the Danish Minister about the ongoing efforts by the Government of Ethiopia and the initiatives taken to establish a joint front by IGAD member states to curb the menace posed by COVID-19.

Danish Minister for Development Cooperation, Rasmus Prehn, on his part expressed Denmark’s commitment to joining hands with Ethiopia in the fight against the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
