Real Estate Donates 1.5 Mn Birr to Support Fight against COVID-19

ENA,March 31/2020 Gift Real Estate Plc donated 1.5 million Birr to support the effort underway to contain the spread of the Coronavirus today.

Gift Business Group Managing Director, Gebreyesus Igata told journalists the financial assistance is part of the social responsibility of his organization in the effort to contain COVID-19.

In addition to this support, the real estate has provided seven water tankers carrying 1,000 liters each with hand-care products to Addis Ababa City Administration, he said.

The managing director pledged that Gift Real Estate will continue working with the government to contain the spread of COVID-19 by playing a leading role in resource mobilization and enhancing public awareness.

It is to be recalled that the Government of Ethiopia has established a National Resource Mobilization Committee tasked with coordinating efforts of gathering financial and non-financial materials to contain the spread of the virus.
