Management Hands Over Chinese Private Hospital to Support Effort in Fighting COVID-19

Addis Ababa, March 30/2020(ENA) The management of Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital has handed over the hospital to be used in the effort to contain COVID-19.

The management of the Chinese hospital handed over the hospital to the newly established National Medication and Quarantine Coordinating Committee today.

The hospital has readied 15  ,and promised to increase the number of beds as required.

Attorney General Adanech Abebie appreciated the support of the management of the hospital and commended similar supports being extended to contain  COVID-19.

The Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital was built and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

The new hospital was built with a total of 33 million U.S. dollars.
