Deputy PM, Global Partnership for Education CEO Hold Talks

Addis abeba, march10/2020 (ENA) Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen held talks with Global Partnership for Education Chief Executive Officer Alice Albright today.

Chief Executive Officer Alice Albright appreciated Ethiopia’s effort to improve education, and notably provide for children access to education.

She further affirmed that the existing strong partnership between Ethiopia and the Global Partnership for Education will continue.

Albright is here on a three-day official visit to discuss about ways of further strengthening the cooperation between Ethiopia and Global Partnership for Education.

During her stay, the CEO is expected to meet Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and other top government officials and representatives of the World Bank.
