President Receives Credentials of 5 New Ambassadors

ADDIS aBEBA, MARCHA10/2012(ENA) President Sahlework Zewdie received the credentials of five new ambassadors to Ethiopia today.

According to the Office of the President, the ambassadors who presented their credentials were Pahala Rallage Sanathana Sugeeshwara Gunaratna of Sri Lanka, Elhamdi Salah Francis of Algeria, and Reverend Monsignor Antoine Camilleri of the Holy See (Vatican).

Also, Néstro Alejandro Rosa Navapo of Uruguay and Sim Tong Guk of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea presented their credentials.  

During the occasion, the president urged the ambassadors to work hard to strengthen relations between Ethiopia and their respective countries.

President Sahlework pointed out that the Government of Ethiopia would provide the necessary support for the ambassadors in their efforts to fulfill their responsibilities here in Ethiopia.

The ambassadors expressed their readiness to work hard in order to bolster their respective bilateral relationship with Ethiopia.
