President Sahle-Work Arrives in Nairobi

Addis Ababa  May 14/2019 President Sahlework Zewdie makes her first visit to Kenya as President.

The President arrived today in Nairobi to pay a state visit to Kenya, Ethiopian Embassy in Kenya reported.

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, President Sahle-Work was warmly welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Monica Juma and other senior government officials.

Later today, President Sahle-Work and her Kenya counterpart, Uhuru Kenyatta expected to discuss on bilateral and regional issues of common concerns.

President Sahlework’s visit to Kenya will be the first since she assumed office of presidency.

The visit is expected to further tighten their half-century relations and cooperating on regional issues of common concerns.
