PM Pays Unannounced Visits to Transport, Innovation & Technology Ministries

Addis Ababa May 11/2019 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has made unannounced visits to Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Innovation & Technology early this morning.

His visits are aimed at ensuring the implementation of the reform, improvement in bureaucracy and better working conditions for employees, according to a press statement of the Office of the Prime Minister.

During the visit, Transport Minister Dagmawit Moges briefed Abiy on the institutional reforms being undertaken within the ministry.

Minister of Innovation and Technology, Getahun Mekuria stated that the visit by the Prime Minister "would inspire us to discharge our responsibilities effectively."

It is to be recalled that the premier had similar visits to ministries of Revenues and Defense, Office of the Attorney General, and Ethiopian Roads Authority.
