South Regional State Donates 380 Mil Birr to ENDF

Addis Ababa November 14/2014 (ENA) South Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Regional State (SNNPR) has provided 380 million birr worth of support to the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF).

The has donated 380 million birr in cash and other support to the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF).

In addition to the cash support, the donation includes over 5000 oxen and other goods vital to the defense force, it was indicated.

Chief Administrator of SNNPR Ristu Yirdaw has handed over the support to state of Minister Defence, Marta Luwiji.

During the occasion, the Chief Administrator said the regional state will continue the support until the end of fight against the enemy of the nation.

The State Minister of Defense appreciated the regional state for its commitment and active support to the ENDF.

It was also indicated that tens of thousands of young people have joined the Ethiopian National Defense Forces to protect the sovereignty of the country from all corners of the region.

Ethiopians inside the country and abroad have been actively mobilizing resources to support the ENDF in its efforts to thwarting the threat posed by the terrorist TPLF.
