CBE Donates 10 Mn Birr to Support Fight against COVID-19

ENA March 19/ 2020The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia has contributed 10 million Birr to support the fight against COVID-19. 

CBE President Abe Sano handed over the cheque to Health State Minister Sahrala Abdulahi today.

He said the bank, which has always been in the forefront in fulfilling its corporate responsibility, extended 10 million Birr in order to help prevent the widespread of the virus.

Health State Minister Sahrala Abdulahi said on her part all should join hands in the fight against the disease that does not discriminate human beings.

She called on other institutions to follow the example of the bank and extended support.

Ethiopia has six confirmed six cases of coronavirus, of which four are now in good condition with no symptoms.

Two of the patients have mild to moderate symptoms and they are under close follow up.
