Addis Ababa October 23/2018 President Mulatu Teshome discussed with 40 Indian business persons about lucrative investment areas in Ethiopia today.

Manufacturing, renewable energy, education, health, and capacity building are the areas of interest that the Indian delegation is interested to engage in.

During the meeting, the president assured the delegation that the government of Ethiopia will provide all the necessary support in their activities towards investing in the country.

Ethiopia and India have longstanding relationship, Mulatu pointed out, adding that the visit will have significant impact on strengthening bilateral relations.

Delegation Head and JITO Business Networking Chairman, Milind Shah said the delegation had excellent discussion with the president on available business opportunities. “We look forward to a great business opportunity here,” he added.

Shah promised that Ethiopia “will have big investments coming soon from India. Ethiopian and Indian governments have great collaboration and that will help all of us to develop our businesses.”

The visit will also create other business opportunities for Ethiopians, he noted.
